Gospel singer and songwriter Joe Mettle has raised concerns about the quality of aircraft serving Ghana, comparing them unfavorably to those allocated to other African countries. In a recent social media post, Mettle shared his observations, highlighting that despite the high cost of air tickets to Ghana, passengers often find themselves flying on planes that fall short of expectations.
“I’ve had the privilege to travel a bit and realized that most of the planes that come to Ghana are not the best at all compared to the ones that go to other African countries,” Mettle remarked.
He further questioned why Ghana seems to accept these inferior planes without pushing for better options, especially given the relatively short flight distances. His comments have sparked a wider conversation about the need for improved standards and better negotiations to ensure higher-quality aircraft for Ghana.
